If you make your happiness depend upon yourself, and not upon others, you have adopted the best method for achieving it.

Temple News
We would first like to apologize for the delay in the temple newsletter for February. It has been a very busy and also exciting month for members of the clergy.
The weekly live Demos rites each Sunday have hereby been rescheduled for this year. Each one will now take place at 9 am instead of 1 pm, and go until the rites are completed, unless otherwise announced on our Facebook page. The reason for this change is because the priest now has non-temple obligations he would like to fulfill at 1 pm each Sunday from this point forward.
A new outline for the weekly rites has been posted on our Facebook page for everyone to make a copy of, so they can follow along with us each time. While our past outlines have, at times, mirrored the rites of other Hellenic organizations, this one is unique to our temple as everything is entirely in our own words. Members and friends of the temple who wish to participate in our live rites, are encouraged to print out a copy. It can be found in the Notes section of the temple's Facebook page.
The temple is still actively seeking to re-incorporate itself into the State of Illinois as a religious organization. While this is not necessary, it does help legitimize our organization in the eyes of the government. However, before this can be done, we need another individual on our Board of Directors, or Boule, to fulfill the state requirement. Anyone living in Illinois who would like to take this position is encouraged to contact the priest for an official list of requirements and an interview.
